FIRST CONSULT

We provide you peace of mind and get to know you.
We explain the entire fitting and rehab process.

SHRINKER SOCK FITTING

We discuss your doctor’s prescription of a shrinker sock.
We explain why controlling swelling and shaping your residual limb is so important.
We measure, fit and educate you how to use and care for your shrinker sock.
We schedule a follow up appointment to monitor your progress and answer questions.

EVALUATION

We identify a personalized treatment plan for you.
We establish a benchmark for improvement.
We discuss goals to achieve for the most optimal outcome to give you the confidence to be successful.

IMPRESSION OF LIMB

We identify the shape, size and characteristics of your residual limb.
We record measurements by scanning or casting.
We discuss the possibility of rapid fabrication technology directly on/over your existing limb.

TEST FITTING AND ALIGNMENT

We optimize your comfort and functional capabilities through proper alignment.
We maximize the fit for all your desired activities.
We strive to create stability, safety and comfort for your everyday needs.

ADDITIONAL TEST FITTINGS

We provide a final fitting, instructions and all the supplies you need for daily use.
We will schedule follow-up visits with us and facilitate your physical therapy treatment.

Delivery of the Prosthesis

Delivery of the final prosthesis is different if you are a new amputee or if you have had experience wearing a prosthetic limb in the past. Either way, our goal is to equip you for your journey in returning to your previous activities or you may reach for a higher level of activity. Your physical or occupational therapist will help you build a solid foundation for proper use of your new prosthetic limb. During your follow up visit with Perry Prosthetics our team will assess your progress and make sure your prosthesis is operating smoothly and functioning properly so you can achieve your full potential. We are confident that you will experience the success you deserve.
