Chris Perry, CP, LP

Certified & Licensed Prosthetist, Founder

I am from a small town known as Clyde, Ohio. At 16 years of age, I was riding my motorcycle home from school when a pickup truck turned in front of me and changed the course of my life.

The ambulance took me to Fremont Memorial Hospital where I was airlifted by Life Flight to St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo. I stayed for nearly three months while doctors tried to save my leg.

After my amputation, I received less than desirable prosthetic care for several years. Research led me to, Jan Stokosa, a clinician that was considered one of the best in the country. After the great outcomes I received, I decided I wanted to enter the field of prosthetics. At that point, I knew I wanted to provide that same high quality of care I experienced to individuals living with limb loss. Jan hired me in 1991, and in April of 2000, I started my own practice the Toledo area. Because of my personal experience I made it my mission that Perry Prosthetics will always provide the same mentorship, education and care that changed my life.

Michael is the Clinical Manager of Perry Prosthetics. He is responsible for all clinical and technical staff. This key role ensures the highest clinical outcomes are achieved by our clinicians. Michael was certified in 2016 in the field of Prosthetics and Orthotics. He strives for exceptional patient outcomes and improves their quality of life through the entire rehabilitation process. He achieved a Master of Prosthetics and Orthotics degree at Northwestern University. Michael is certified by the American Board of Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics and licensed by the State of Ohio Board of Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics. In his free time, Michael enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family including his wife, and four children.

Michael specializes in working with upper extremity amputees. He has a strong passion for helping people and finds pleasure in assisting his patients regain their freedom and confidence. He entered the field with an invitation from a close friend and hasn’t looked back since. In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, three kids and granddaughter.

Ben is a certified and licensed practitioner. He knew he wanted to become a prosthetist when his wife, Crystal, had an amputation. To ensure she would receive the best quality care, he took on the role himself. With a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University and a Master of prosthetics degree from Eastern Michigan University. Ben appreciates and loves the impact he has on getting his patients back on their feet. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family whether that be hunting, fishing, or being at the lake house!

Bob has been part of the Perry Prosthetics team for over 12 years! He spends his workdays in the lab fabricating and assisting our practitioners design prosthetics. His incredible mechanical skills gives him a huge advantage in the prosthetics field, as most of the time he is tasked with figuring out how to integrate complex technology into the devices we provide to our patients that improve their daily activities. Bob likes being a part of the team that helps our patients maintain the lifestyle desire. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his son, Chance, whether that be fishing, hunting, or just being outdoors.

Joe has worked as a prosthetic technician for 28 years! He gets satisfaction from helping patients live a better life. As a lab technician, he is responsible for making sure all the parts and pieces are assemble and working properly on everything we fit on a patient. Joe loves his job and working alongside his fellow employees. In his spare time, he enjoys barbecuing, riding his motorcycle and visiting his newest granddaughter!

Amy is an integral part of the Perry Prosthetics team for nearly 15 years! She earned a double major in Communications and Spanish from Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids, Michigan. She enjoys getting to know our patients on a personal level and seeing them thrive from the quality care they receive. She is always happy and willing to help our patients in any way possible. Outside of the office, she spends her time chasing her two sons, Jackson & Lincoln, and her husband, Chris. She loves playing volleyball, going to concerts and shopping!

Her dedication ensures that patients can focus on what matters most — living their lives to the fullest. Outside of work, Angie enjoys spending time with her two children and three grandchildren, golfing, and participating in car shows.

As our receptionist, Debbie is usually the first person our patients see when they come to Perry Prosthetics. Her smile and upbeat personality are enough to put a smile on anyone’s face. She enjoys working with our amazing team to make a positive difference in our patients' lives. Outside of the office, Debbie spends her time hiking and serving at Cedar Creek Church with her husband, Ron. She also cherishes time spent with her children and grandchildren!

Dustin joins the Perry Prosthetics team as an accomplished professional with a variety of experiences in visual communications. Prior to working at Perry Prosthetics, he served as the Assistant Director of Creative Video for the University of Toledo’s Athletic department, where he produced, planned and edited videos to support the success of the University's 17 NCAA Division 1 intercollegiate teams. Prior to his time at UT he worked freelance for various clients including BG Independent News, Bowling Green State University, City of Bowling Green, Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, The Morning Show BG, Grounds For Thought, Bigfoot Studios and Mike Williams on Sax. He received his Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication Technology from BGSU in 2005.

Theron Steinke has been working in the prosthetics field since 2010, with a strong focus on creating educational content for medical professionals, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physicians, Case Managers, and other members of the rehabilitation team. In addition to his educational efforts, Theron serves as a Patient Liaison, assisting new amputee patients throughout their journey by providing valuable resources, answering questions, and helping them navigate the process with confidence. He is also passionate about sharing impactful patient success stories that highlight real-world outcomes, inspire others, and demonstrate the life-changing potential of prosthetic care.

As an addition to the reception team, Caitie is excited to continue fostering the warm and welcoming environment we strive to provide for our patients. Caitie attended Kent State University where she majored in Teaching English as a Second Language with a minor in Japanese. After graduating, she ended up falling into veterinary medicine for around 8 years before deciding to make the switch to a human medical setting. As a huge animal lover, she and her partner Steve have their own small menagerie of pets; a dog, two cats, and two geckos. Caitie also enjoys videogames, board games, cooking Japanese and Korean food, nature walks, and crafting.

Garrett will be assisting our practitioners with various clinical tasks, especially helping streamline the collection and documentation of ProApp outcome measures, a long-standing part of our commitment to evidence-based care. Perry Prosthetics is proud to be recognized as one of the nation’s top participants in outcomes reporting, using tools like the AMP Pro and AMP NoPro to track patients’ functional progress and help guide their rehab journey. These proven assessments allow our team to set meaningful goals and ensure every patient receives personalized, high-quality care.
